Social Media Coordinator
You run the day-to-day engine of GRA’s social media — publishing, community engagement, and keeping the content machine moving. You work from the weekly content calendar our Strategist owns, but you are not a button-pusher: we expect you to bring ideas to the table, spot what’s working on the platforms before we do, and treat the accounts like they’re yours.
- ·Publish scheduled content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok — on time, with correct links (UTM-tagged), captions, and platform-appropriate formatting.
- ·Own community engagement: respond to comments and DMs within agreed windows, surface questions and testimonies to the team, and flag anything needing leadership's attention.
- ·Contribute at least 3 content ideas each week to the team review — drawn from trends you're tracking, audience comments, and what the numbers show.
- ·Monitor each platform's trends, formats, and feature changes, and bring what you learn to the team.
- ·Assist with light content assembly: caption writing, simple graphics, clipping short-form video from longer recordings.
- ·Keep the posts log current so every post is trackable in our analytics.
- ·Use the tools available — including AI tools — to work faster and figure things out before asking.
- ·Hands-on experience running social accounts — personal projects and small brands count; show us.
- ·Native fluency with Instagram, TikTok, and short-form culture; you already know what's trending because you're there anyway.
- ·Evidence of self-teaching: a skill, tool, or format you learned on your own because you wanted to — be ready to tell that story.
- ·Reliability: this role lives and dies on consistency.
- ·Comfort with faith-based content and GRA's ministry mission.
- ·Basic CapCut/Canva (or similar) skills.
- ·Experience moderating or growing an online community.
- ·Zero missed scheduled posts; every link tagged correctly.
- ·Comment/DM response time consistently inside the agreed window.
- ·Your content ideas appear in the calendar — and at least a few outperform the baseline.
- ·The Strategist trusts you to catch problems — a broken link, a dead trend, a brewing comment issue — before she does.
Weekly team review with the Strategist: we walk the numbers together, everyone brings ideas, and the best idea wins regardless of whose it is. We measure this role on consistency and contribution, not just output.
Show us your work — that’s the interview.
Five minutes, no account needed. An account you’ve run or a clip you’ve made tells us more than ten pages ever could — and come ready to tell the story of something you taught yourself.
